House Sitter
Notes for Play Testers:
This game is made for a 9-day game jam. Code is available on my Github.
WebGL version can be unstable and dependent on browsers. Watch the play-through video for game-play experience here.
Update Version 1.1 (6/15) Sofa and photo issue has been fixed.
- WebGL Black screen at the beginning? The file is big so it'll take a while to load. If problem persists for more than a minute, please try reloading or downloading executables instead.
- Avoid using Safari to play WebGL, use Chrome instead.
- Can't sit on Sofa and got stuck? It's a known bug. Double hit "E" key can solve it. If not you may need to reload the game.
- Hit Space key for a Checklist to test out all the mechanics.
Story
You got called in for a last-minute house sitter shift at house of an old grandma whose name is Nancy Hopkins. Your duty is basically stay there and do nothing until your shift ends. But you realize you have the entire house to yourself, and it is a waste of time to just sit around. Explore the mechanics of the house, and through each and every one of the switches, try to get in to the minds old lady who you never met before through her living space. After that 12 o'clock bell chime, you can choose to leave, or, stay to explore more, all depends on you.
