Story

Get inside the minds of Albert Jackson, also known as Sir Maxwell, a ghost-hunting hero crowned and well-respected by the entire town. Or so he thought. In reality,  he is suffering severe dementia and are currently residing in a psychiatric institution. Can you fulfill his wish of escaping the hospital and ultimately freed the spirit of the trapped hero? Or would your carelessness end up costing the hero's life?

As you explore the hospital, you may find some shocking news and ugly secret that the hospial administration is hiding.

Player Hints (Read when you are stuck/confused)

  1. The objective is getting out of the hospital (maze) before your "hero self" get killed by the ghosts in your hallucination. (Keep fighting off ghosts in hallucination while looking for an exit in the hospital)

  2. Getting caught by the guard will send you back to your cell (the begining). The guards' vision is limited, however, to where their flashlight can reach.

  3. The exit of the maze is on the bottom right direction - following this rough direction should get you out of the maze. For play testing purpose, here is the way out (see map below).

  4. There are 2 endings and 3 easter eggs in this game. (have you tried opening the drawers?)

Neat concept! Interesting take on the theme, like the little pixely characters.

I'm sure I'm not the first to notice, but there are these flickery white lines that flash in the background of the hospital while you're walking along- it kind of makes it hard to look at.  Perhaps some sort of tile alignment/scaling issue?

Thank your for playing! I'll definitely take a look at this issue.

Super impressive! Way cool concept.

I want to say, it's difficult to get this game to run, the way it's restricted inside the web browser frame. For anyone who has trouble running this, you want to try to click the blue fullscreen button without clicking the other fullscreen button.

Yeah Pipcy, you should go into the Itch page settings and untick the option for Full Screen there. Unity already built that blue Full Screen option into your WebGL player, so the Itch one is unnecessary and doesn't work right for your entry anyhow.

Thank you so much for letting me know!! I was having so much problem with frame. Could you please check for it if it works for you now?? Thank you!!

Yeah, you still have to fullscreen it to see the menu buttons, but it's much easier to do now (and more obvious). Happy to help!
